For the 5.9L, we've bundled together our aluminum radiator, silicone radiator hose kit, and low-temperature thermostat.As the stand-out component, our aluminum radiator features full aluminum construction with durable TIG-welded end tanks. This radiator is a three-row unit with a 2.44-in thick brazed aluminum core. The increased size of our core compared to the stock unit provides greater fluid capacity and superior heat dissipation. To supplemen t this radiator upgrade, we've included our incredibly robust silicone radiator hose kit for the 5.9L. Mishimoto silicone hoses are constructed from high-grade 4-ply silicone with heat-resistant embedded fibers for superior heat and pressure tolerance. Finally, rounding out our essentials bundle is the Mishimoto low-temperature thermostat. The Mishimoto thermostat has a lower activation temperature (185F) than the factory thermostat (192F). The lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, reducing the risk of overheating in hot environments.
