This kit comes with everything necessary (shifter not included) to install your Hurst Competition/Plus shifter in your car. The Muncie (451) transmission can be identified by the fact they have a stud on the shift forks that secures the shift arm on the transmission with a nut. Note: 1969-1974 Muncie (452, 453) transmissions use a bolt to secure the shift arm to the shift fork of the transmission and the (452, 453) Muncie transmissions will require a different installation kit then this one.
